The sea, the beach, the forest, rice fields, and vegetable gardens! Surrounded by rich nature, we nurture essential life skills through “FREE PLAY” education.

Kamoi Kindergarten began in the aftermath of World War II, when the founding principal opened his home to support children during difficult times.

Today, our approach is rooted in “FREE PLAY” – a style of early childhood education that allows children to explore and grow at their own pace.
Sometimes they play alone or in small groups, while at other times, large-scale projects involve the whole kindergarten community.

We also place strong emphasis on seasonal events. In autumn, we hold a Sports Day, and in winter, a Rhythm Performance Showcase. One of the highlights of the year is the Art Exhibition, where the children create themed works based on their most memorable experiences at the kindergarten.

Bilingual instructors/interpreters are on-site every weekday (Monday–Friday) to support communication between children, parents, and teachers and staffs.

Additionally, language instructors from YWFA are dispatched every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

豊かな自然の中、「自由保育」で社会に必要な能力を養う

かもいようちえんは、戦後まもない混乱期に、当時の子ども達の事を思って、初代園長が自宅を開放したことから始まりました。　園では、「自由保育」を通して、時に個人、少人数で、またある時は幼稚園中の友達を巻き込んで様々な遊びや子ども達によるプロジェクトが繰り広げられています。

幼稚園の行事にも力を入れており、秋には、『運動会』、冬には『リズム発表会』があります。また、子ども達にとって印象強い園生活での出来事から制作テーマを決める、『作品展』は毎年圧巻です。

外国語講師 兼 通訳が月～金 毎日在籍しており、園児、親御さん、先生方のコミュニケーションをサポートしています。 YWFAから、毎週火・水・木に講師を派遣しています。日本式の幼児教育にご興味がある方は、お気軽にお問合せ下さい。
